When the medals come from six countries
Some collections are a training log. Others are a map — a half in Lisbon because the flights were cheap, a 10 km on holiday, a city marathon chosen mainly because neither of you had been there.
Those medals are worth seeing together, because the pattern is the point. Hung in order they read as a route rather than as a list of times, which is not something a drawer can do.
Hung in the order the races happened, a travelling collection becomes a timeline. Hung by country it becomes something else. Both work; decide before you drill.
This medal hanger is produced in the widths below. If you are buying it as a gift, size on the collection they already have rather than on what looks right on the wall.

Not sure which size?
Chronological or geographical, either way you want space between the groups. Go one size up.
The steel, and why it matters
Every medal display in the range is AISI 304 — the same grade used for kitchen surfaces and marine fittings — at 2.5-3 mm depending on width. It doesn't rust, doesn't chip, and doesn't need looking after.
The bar is continuous. That's the whole difference from a hook rack: hooks give you a fixed count, a rail gives you a length.
Fitting it to the wall
Comes with stainless standoffs, fixings and a paper drilling template. On plasterboard use proper anchors rather than the plugs supplied — a full display is heavier than it looks.
Running out of room
Buy a second and line it up directly beneath or beside this one — the proportions are designed so a pair looks intentional. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
Getting it to you
This medal holder is made to order in the EU and on its way within 3–5 working days, with fourteen days to send it back if it isn't right.
